Wednesday Feb 07, 2024
Wednesday Feb 07, 2024
This week the Sam’s open with Ipswich’s loss and slide all the way to 4th place. The Saints continue their unbeaten 21 game run but still find themselves 11 points behind Leicester. Pompey regained their 4 point lead on League 1 while it would appear Wigan is going to be safe after starting the year with a point deduction. League 2 saw a goalless draw between Accy and Grimsby as Wrexham blew a great chance to go top of the table.

Wolves and Villa were ready to exact revenge from their 1st-week losses only to see United and Newcastle beat them both again. Arsenal, City, and Liverpool all get wins as Tottenham find themselves back in the top 4. The boys enjoy number 13 on Whisky Advocates Top 2023 Hemingway Rye.

Accy stayed in the top 10 with a victory in League 2, while Wrexham didn’t play, Stockport won and Barrow drew while Mansfield lost keeping them right in the title hunt.

Leeds continues to play well but finds themselves gaining no ground as the other 3 just keep winning. Premier League matchweek 21: Public Enemy #1
Tuesday Jan 16, 2024
Tuesday Jan 16, 2024
The Sam’s go through the first half of the spilt fixture week. Burnley are hard done by another missed VAR call. The west London derby was exciting despite the score line and Villa Everton was just scrappy. The boys have Ryan on from the American Toffee podcast to discuss Forest and Everton’s recent allegations of violations of the FFP rules. The Sam’s each enjoyed separate whiskeys from Heaven’s Door and Aberfeldy Highland Single Malt this week as the snow separated them.
Burnley 1 - Luton 1
Chelsea 1 - Fulham 0
Man City 3 - Newcastle 2
Aston Villa 0 - Everton 0
