The Sam’s open with the Manchester Derby outside of a screamer of a goal by Rashford, it was a one-sided affair for City. Everton, Forest, and Luton can’t help themselves out of the bottom despite the opportunities to do so. Villa stays ahead of Spurs, while Newcastle makes a final shot at Europa and Arsenal is seemingly scoring for fun.

Southamptons run has come to an end with their first loss in 22. Leeds got a big win and surpassed the Saints in the table. At the bottom Millwall now find themselves in trouble. Pompey got a couple of wins and now sit with a 7 point lead at the top of League 1. Stockport lost twice this week and Mansfield gets the lead down to 1 point in League 2 with a monster 9-2 victory. Wrexham also won 2 matches and find themselves right back in the hunt.

Wolves are proving to be quite a tough out. Forest got a big win, Luton fell at home for a second week and Everton got out of the drop and awaited their appeal decision. The boys are into the top 10 of Whisky Advocates Top 20 of 2023 with Glen Dronach’s 12-year Cask Strength, which both the Sam’s were quite enamored by.

The Championship gave us some great drama as Southampton’s unbeaten streak was in jeopardy, Leeds scored a questionable goal and West Brom lost a big player. Portsmouth grew their lead at the top of League 1 and the bottom of the table saw some major shuffling. Finally, League 2 see’s Wrexham in n a 4-match losing streak, and MK Dons now find themselves in the playoff hunt.
