Wednesday Oct 02, 2024
Highlights from the rest of the English Football League.
West Brom is still at the top of the championship despite losing to Wednesday, but the race is tight as only 3 points separate 1st through 7th with many familiar faces. Birmingham City now controls the top spot over Wrexham after the O’s pulled off a stunning draw against the Welsh side. Accy just can’t get any luck as they slip to the bottom of all professional football and Graham’s nemesis Gillingham is at the top of League 2 again.

This week the Sam’s cover the top half of the championship as West Brom are off to an amazing start and Leeds makes their way back into the top six. The majority of the show is spent chatting about the failed takeover and dumpster fire that is Reading FC. The Sam’s get the assist from Royals supporter (and whiskey fan) Colin who helps break down everything at the club.
